Mei Jie
Mei is a computational neuroscience researcher who has completed her studies at the Ecole normale supérieure, Paris and Charité Universitätsmedizin Berlin. She is currently based in Canada and is responsible for AI and neuroscience research at Oyama Health at deepkapha.ai. In parallel, she is a postdoctoral fellow at University of Quebec. Her research interests include computational neuroscience, neurorobotics, machine learning and data analytics in healthcare and medicine. She is also an active startup advisor.
Marta Slepankova
Marta is an AI student and stay-home mum located in Czech Republic, Europe. She has a master's degree in Economy but worked for the last ten years in the IT sector. For this reason, she has decided to go back to academia to obtain a master's degree in Information systems, this time in Sweden. Marta hopes she will start her Ph.D. studies this fall with the research in the application of AI methods in education.
Kimberly Wu
Kim is a rising high-school senior from San Francisco, California! She is currently exploring computer science and AI through dual-enrollment classes and is challenging herself by learning new languages like Java and C++. Kim is looking to major in computer science or electrical engineering in college.
Mareena Wallace
Mareena is a Data Scientist Consultant at Newcomp Analytics and an Adjunct Lecturer at the University of Toronto where she develops and implements AI-technologies and strives to fuel her students' passions for technology advancement in healthcare. Alongside teaching, Mareena's passion for life-long learning has led her to take continuing education courses both online and in-person at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) where she continually stays on top of the latest data science trends for her clients and students.
Khadija Mahmoud
Khadija is a machine learning engineer, researcher, and TA. She was awarded a master’s degree in electrical and computer engineering at the University of Ottawa as a scholarship for distinct computer science fresh graduates. She aims to start her Ph.D. in quantum machine learning. Her vision is to spread science worldwide and inspire others in their careers.
